Tips to protect document in Microsoft Office Word and excel(Password Protection)

To protect the Ms-Word file.
Method

1. Go to tools &  menu.
2. Click on option.
3. Click on Security Tab.After that Security dialog box will appeared.
4. Type the password to open.
5. Confirm password.
6. Click on OK button to save the file.

To Unprotect the Ms-Word file.
Method

1. Go to tools &  menu.
2. Click on Unprotect Document.
3. Type the same password.
4. Again confirm password.
5. Click on OK button.

How to protect the Ms-Word 2010 Document?
Method

First click on file.

File tab will open, click info tab.

Clik on Protect Document, After that drop down menu will open find Encrypt with Password button.
Then click Encrypt with Password button.

After click on Encrypt with Password button, Encrypt Document dialog box will appear.You should give a strong password to protect your Document.Your password must be strong and resisting guessing.

How to choose strong password ?

1. Password must be 10-15 character long.
2. Use a alphabetical and numerical character.
3. If the system allows you must use symbols EX:-( @!#$%^&*-=., ).
4. And always remember it.

Confirm password.
Then click OK button to save.

To Unprotect the Ms-Word file.
